Vista launch and shiny happy people
All those men wearing suits really endorse me to switch back to Windows. And I love panels were people are put on high seats in front of the audience that I’ve witnessed on MobileMonday events at least.
I did not visit the Vista launch tent in Helsinki (in Finnish) but reading the program it seemed really boring. Office version whatsoever and something else boring — and it was put in the way of people walking to and from Kamppi shopping mall. Bad feelings.
I first had this kind of Wow when I first used my Mac and the way I could do things with it — now I’ve found my ways of working as productively as I can and it’s as boring as working on any computer can ever be, though I find I can still do everything easier that I did before.
I don’t know how many years you really have to wait until computers can really predict what, when and how you want to do. You still have to do a lot of stuff manually. I often try to automate my common tasks, but eventually just end up spending too much time on organizing and writing new scripts that I forgot to use.
