Blogging from Textmate

I’m testing here, if I can post an entry to my blog with Textmate Blogging Bundle as it is easier to write with (Textile) syntax hilighting. I can also fetch and update these posts with Textmate. What is cool, I should also be able to upload images with it — though I’ve been using Flickr for that.

Anyone have an idea, what I could do, if I want to begin writing my posts with Markdown instead of Textile and not to alter old posts by hand? WordPress does not seem to support yet multiple filters that users can select from.

PS. Textmate has many screencasts demostrating it’s features.
