WidSets Beta

I installed WidSets service application on my phone today earlier but couldn’t get it working until I tried it again on the replacement phone. At first it’s kinda neat but I’ve yet only found it useful for reading RSS feeds and even they have problems. This blog’s RSS feed had problems with characters that I have to fix myself, some feeds’ articles had a size limit so I couldn’t read the full content and Digitoday RSS feed has only the topics and short descriptions so it wasn’t worth using at all because there wasn’t even a way to open the full story in a browser.

Have to check out the SDK if I can make anything out of it. And just when I begin to like Opera I’m reminded that it isn’t yet fully compatible with Ajaxified webservices like WidSets and Gmail. The WidSets service login screen doesn’t seem to work without Ajax support.
